National Union Seafarers of Peninsular Malaysia
- NUSPM is a national union registered under the Registrar of Trade Union, a department under the Ministry of Human Resources
- The objective of the union is to defend the rights, well-being and interest of seafarers at workplace. In addition, NUSPM will ensure vessel owners provide decent working condition and good welfare for seafarers, including employment security, safety and health in vessels.
- Unlike normal working environment, working in vessel and travelling from one country to another country through sea is full of risk, the weather is absolutely unpredictable.

Able to support the membership in the areas of training, education and defend the members from all forms of exploitation and discrimination; achieve gender justice in the workplace.
Mission
To promote and defend the rights, well-being and interest of Seafarers in the work place.
Aim
NUSPM will represent the seafarers independently without the influence of government, agents or companies. It will be administered according to the registered constitution and work with the guidelines set by the members.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- National Union of Seafarers of Peninsular Malaysia (NUSPM) was established in Klang in 1996, after officially registered with registrar of trade union on 26 December 1996.

- The union will be run according to the constitution.

- Provide membership card to all members.

- To ensure that the collective agreements signed are honored by companies.

- To ensure that working condition on board meet the safety standards set by the Department of Safety and Health.
- To ensure that seafarers receive fair treatment including time for recreation and social activities.
